Caring Professions

Our information events took place on February 19th and March 12th.

24 people from different biographical and vocational backgrounds participated. They were offered information about the educational system in the care taking sector, possibilities of financial assistance and some insight in the every day work routine. The event was supported by an interpretor for Arabic, Kurdish and Farsi.

Next steps are:

1. Guided info tours and taster half-days in social facilities, e.g. nursing homes
2.  Orientation sessions for individuals or groups
3.  German B1+ and computer courses for selected participants
4.  Suitable persons will be assisted to connect with the `Diakonie Implacementstiftung` for further assistance

Unsere beiden Infoabende fanden am 19. Februar und 12. März statt.

Teilgenommen haben 24 Personen mit unterschiedlichen Lebens- und Berufserfahrungen. Sie bekamen Informationen zu den Ausbildungen im Sozialbetreuungsbereich, den finanziellen Unterstützungsmöglichkeiten und einen Einblick in die Berufspraxis. Unterstützt wurde der Abend von einer Dolmetscherin für Arabisch, Kurdisch und Farsi.

Weitere Schritte sind:

1.  Schnupperführungen und Schnuppertage in sozialen Einrichtungen
2. Orientierungsgespräche – einzeln und in Gruppen
3. Deutsch B1+ und EDV-Kurse für ausgewählte TeilnehmerInnen
4.  Vermittlung geeigneter Personen an die Diakonie Implacementstiftung

Informationsgespräche, sowie Schnuppertage und Kursteilnahme sind noch möglich!
